CENTCOM said they anticipate more base transfers and military equipment in the coming days and weeks, supporting the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF/GIRoA) as work to even out and defend their country.
America has removed almost 300 C-17 planeloads of material from Afghanistan. Moreover, another thirteen thousand equipment pieces were sent for destruction.
Last week, US Central Command stated that the forces pullout was close to a quarter. In the meantime, in testimony before legislators in Washington DC, Lloyd Austin, US Defense Secretary, said the pullout was proceeding ‘slightly ahead’ of pace.

Maximum US Support will be Financial
Agence-France Presse (AFP) mentioned separately on Tuesday that US and Afghan authorities as saying America would be transferring Bagram Air Base to the Afghan forces in the coming twenty days.
On Tuesday, John Kirby, Pentagon Press Secretary, declined to confirm a deadline but told Defense Department reporters, ‘Clearly, Bagram Airbase is going to be transferred.’
Last month, Afghan authorities said that America already had completed its pullout from Kandahar Airfield, which housed nearly thirty thousand coalition forces and contractors.
Joe Biden, the President of America, declared in April this year that all American forces would be withdrawn from Afghanistan by early September 2021, ending about two decades of war against Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.
