President Joe Biden Achieved 300 Million Vaccine Shots in his first 150 Days after inauguration

Joe Biden, the President of the United States, took a cautious achievement lap Friday in his quest to bring the coronavirus outbreak under control, announcing that three hundred million vaccine shots administered in the initial one hundred and fifty days since he took office. The U.S. President credited companies, scientists, the American nation, and his whole-of-government effort.

Furthermore, Biden noted that the extensive vaccination campaign had set the stage for citizens to have a relatively normal summer as employers hire and businesses reopen. The president says that they are moving forward into a very different summer compared to the previous year. As Biden marks one milestone, but his administration is in danger of lacking to meet another.

Around 168m American Adults Received At Least One Dose of Vaccination

The U.S. president targeted to have seventy percent of American adults at least partly vaccinated by 4th July, in a little over fifteen days. In general, around 168 million American adults, or 65.1 percent of the United States population eighteen years and older, received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Friday, according to the statistics of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Moreover, the pace of new COVID-19 vaccinations in the United States fell significantly from a high of approximately two million daily about two months ago, risking the ability of the president to hit the seventy percent mark. The White House announced its government’s approach to the vaccination effort against the disease had put the coronavirus in withdrawal, which in turn brought coronavirus cases, deaths, and hospitalizations to their lowest levels in over a year.

In addition, the president noted in his comments that some societies in states with lower vaccination rates are experiencing new cases, and hospitalizations increase. The government is in the middle of a month-long blitz to fight vaccine hesitancy and the lack of urgency some individuals feel to receive the shots, specifically in the Midwest and in the South.

Delta Variant of COVID-19 will Become the Dominant Strain in The U.S.

Rochelle Walensky, the director of CDC, said on Friday that she expects the delta variant of the virus will become the dominant strain in the United States. That virus strain has become dominant in the United Kingdom after it was initially detected in India. During an appearance on Good Morning America of ABC, she told American people who get their vaccination shots to protect themselves against the delta strain.

As part of the vaccination push of the government, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to Atlanta yesterday to tour an automatic coronavirus vaccination site at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where doctor Martin Luther King Jr. was a pastor until his killing in 1968. Moreover, the present senior pastor is the United States, Senator Raphael Warnock.

The vice president also spoke at a vaccination mobilization event at Clark Atlanta University. She told the students of the historically Black school that they have the power to end this COVID-19 pandemic by giving individual information around the gathering of resources, such as free child care, free car rides, that are available to help them to receive the vaccination.

Further, she said that getting vaccinated is to build the power of the community and is about building the power of the United States.

The United States President wants to Celebrate Independence Day as a Summer of Freedom

The Biden government insists that even if the seventy percent vaccination goal is not met, it will have little effect on the whole American recovery, which is already where the president said it would some months ago. Biden wants to celebrate 2021 Independence Day as a summer of freedom from the coronavirus.

The White House announced its future plans earlier this week to host first responders, service members, and front-line workers and the family members of the service members on the South Lawn for a cookout. Over one thousand guests expected to join the largest events of the presidency of the Biden.
