John Kerry Should Resign if Iran Accusations are True – Sen. Rick Scott

Senator Rick Scott said that John Kerry, the United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, must resign if allegations are true that he informed the Islamic Republic of Iran about Israeli military operations when he was serving as Secretary of State under ex-President Barack Obama. Additionally, he called for Joe Biden to ban John Kerry from press briefings on national security.

Scott tweeted that the accusations involving Kerry are intensely disturbing. If this is reality, he must resign. In an organized statement, he said that the U.S. should not trust Iran. They can’t forget that Iran is the top state sponsor of terror in the world. However, these accusations involving Kerry are intensely worrying and should explain instantly. Until the truth came, Joe Biden must remove Kerry from his designation and all access, including briefings on national security intelligence.

If these accusations are true, he must resign. In particular, this clearly shows why America can’t for a 2nd entertain re-entering the left 2015 Iran Nuclear Pact. He says that the U.S. must stand by its great ally, Israel, and keep strict sanctions against Iran. Furthermore, the outcry over John Kerry comes after Javad Zarif and the Iranian Foreign Minister accused in a leaked recorded audio that while Kerry was secretary of the state at that time, he revealed that Israel had led over two hundred operations against Iranian targets.

Kerry Reportedly Met Zarif as a Private Citizen

John Kerry also reportedly met with Javad Zarif as a private citizen after exiting office, which is mounting concern about what he may tell him and other top Iranian officials. Moreover, in a statement on Monday, Biden’s climate czar called the accusations made about him clearly false.

While retweeting posts by John Hudson, the Washington Post reporter, Kerry said that he could tell these accusations are unequivocally false. Calls are mounting for the investigation of John Kerry and resigning over allegations that he told Iran about the military operations of Israel while serving as a U.S. Secretary of State under ex-President Barack Obama.

Senator Marsha Blackburn told Fox News that it is something that demands a Senate investigation. Because his actions put the people of America at uniform risk, and it is serious. In addition, the controversy of Kerry surfaced while the Biden government is in talks to rejoin the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, such as the Iran nuclear agreement. Trump as a president, had pulled America out of the pact when he was a president.
