On Wednesday, Nevada health officials said that they encouraged by initial demand for coronavirus vaccinations for kids aged five to eleven, and local pediatricians are reporting impressive interests for their children. However, some technical glitches and logical issues in the scheduling platform of Nevada slowed the rollout of the vaccination shots at community and county health clinics.
Furthermore, experts raised their concerns that a recent rise in new COVID-19 cases statewide could indicate similar trends as 2020 November when the outbreak started a climb to its most serious level last December. Whereas experts are hopeful that the addition of the two hundred seventy-seven thousand Nevadan residents aged five-to-eleven to those eligible for inoculation will put the state in a better position than last year to fight the spread of the coronavirus.
As of last week, children 5-11 can now get the #COVID19 vaccine. This is huge news and will help to keep students and teachers safely in classrooms and protect every Nevada family.
