On Wednesday, the White House told Voice of America that the U.S. plans to donate over two shots of the Pfizer Coronavirus vaccine to African countries such as Morocco and Kenya. A White House official told VOA that Biden said that the U.S. would be the arsenal of vaccines in the fight of the world against Coronavirus. Further, he said that they are proud to deliver these effective and safe vaccines to the individuals of Morocco and Kenya.
Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, said those vaccine shipments bring the United States to a milestone. On Wednesday, Psaki said that they hit a significant landmark in their international effort to be the armory of vaccines: four hundred million shots shipped to one hundred and twelve nations for free, with no strings attached. To put Biden into perspective, the U.S. sent four times more free shots to the world than any other nation.

The White House said that these new vaccine shots come from the half-billion shots secured by the U.S. government over the summer. Health advocates hailed the latest round of donations but asked whether they were enough – especially considering that the United States is advocating booster shots for previously-vaccinated Americans while several individuals countrywide have set to get an initial dose.
