Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, told media he isn’t ready to select Mike Pence, former VP, as his running mate on a 2024 campaign, when asked Saturday night at GOP donor dinner in North Carolina if he has the interest to re-up with Mike Pence again.
Trump replied to media that in an interview, “Mike Pence and he has an excellent relationship, they continue to have good, but it is too early to be discussing running mates in 2024 certainly” but was “disappointed with Pence on one thing” a likely reference to Pence’s refusal to overturn the 2020 Presidential Election results.
Recently, Mike Pence made a journey to New Hampshire, which is considered as a move by many as means to grill for his run in the 2024 presidential race.
Musadiq Bidar, Tech and Politics reporters at CBS News, tweeted that Facebook said Mr. Trump would be suspended for 2-years. The social media platform would ‘look to experts to assess if the risk to public safety has receded’ after the two-year ban.
NEW: Facebook says former President Donald Trump will be suspended for TWO YEARS effective Jan 7.
FB will “look to experts to assess whether the risk to public safety has receded” after the 2 year ban.
If there’s still a “serious risk to public safety” ban will be extended.

Trump Thinks People are Going To Be Very Happy
VP Pence, who headed over the certification on Jan. 6, was forced to retreat into a secure site after the US Capitol Hill was breached that day. Several rioters, who were part of the huge crowd that sought to halt the certification, openly called for Pence to be hanged.
The former US President did not inquire about Pence’s character during the interview. However, Donald Trump is still recovering from the Presidential election loss and said that ‘it is too early to tell’ whether he would re-up with Pence again.
Trump said on Saturday that he would decide sooner than people ponder, and he thinks people are going to be very happy.
Jake Lahut, a politics reporter for Business Insider, said that VP Pence explored his connection with Trump as it related to the January 6 events.

Pence said that Mr. Trump and he had spoken several times since they left office, and he does not know if they’ll ever see eye to eye on that day. Moreover, he said that he would always be proud of what they accomplished for the US people over their four-year term.
Furthermore, he said that Jan. 6 was a dark day in US Capitol Hill history. He expressed thankfulness to the quick action of Capitol and federal Police, violence was put to an end, the Capitol grounds were secured, and that same day they reconvened the US Congress and performed their duty under the US Constitution and laws.
