The former U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, faced imprisonment in 2018, and now he is one of the most prominent critics of his leader. Cohen claimed on Sunday that the former president will not run again in the 2024 presidential elections, something Trump teased since losing the 2020 election. Last week, Cohen officially completed his sentence after experiencing three years in prison and at-home detention for committing tax fraud, lying to Congress, and breaking campaign finance.
On CNN, the now-free Michael Cohen said that Trump won’t run again in 2024 because his fragile ego couldn’t stand to lose. Besides, the money Trump has raised would have to be accounted for, & he can’t have that. That money is keeping Trump afloat.

Former Trump attorney claimed several of former president’s supporters are donating to him because of the big lie – his false claims that Biden stole the 2020 presidential election from him. Cohen said that if Trump were to lose in the 2024 elections, which he will, what happens to the big lie? Trump raised $56 million in donations during the first six months of 2021 through the Republican party’s direct donation website such as WinRed. The former president raised more funds than any other Republican leader on the site, and in June, had more than $100 million available in cash on hand.
Trump Claimed that he Would Win the Republican Nomination
The House impeached former president Donald Trump for the second time at the tail end of his tenure for inflaming the 6th January insurgency at the Capitol. This week, Trump claimed that he would win the Republican presidential nominee very easily. In October, Stephanie Grisham, the former press secretary of Trump, warned people that if Donald Trump were to win again, he would be about retaliation. Therefore, his second tenure would be worse than the first because they do not have to worry about re-election.

Moreover, in July, Jason Miller, the former spokesman of Trump, said that there is a fifty/fifty shot Trump will run again. The 2024 presidential campaign of Donald Trump would look very different from his previous two. After the Capitol riot, Twitter permanently banned him as he would send dozens of messages per day. Likewise, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram indefinitely suspended him for his illegal use of platforms.
