US Intervention in Israel Conflict Risks All-Out War, Iran Warns

Iran has warned that any intervention by the United States in the conflict with Israel could lead to an “all-out war,” as both sides have exchanged attacks for the sixth consecutive day. In an interview with Al Jazeera on Wednesday, Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, cautioned: “Any American intervention would be a recipe for an all-out war in the region.”

He stated, “We have very good relations with Arab countries, and they are very cognizant of the fact that Israel has been attempting to involve others in the conflict. We are confident that our Arab countries hosting US bases would not permit their territories to be utilized against their Muslim neighbors.”

US President Donald Trump, who initially distanced himself from the Israeli attacks, has since signaled a US involvement in the conflict, expressing his desire for something “much bigger” than a ceasefire. The United States has deployed additional warplanes to the region and is also dispatching the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier.

Thousands of United States soldiers are currently deployed in countries that are within range of Iran’s military capabilities. The US warned that it would retaliate with a significant response to any potential attacks.

Trump Demands Iran’s Unconditional Surrender

On Tuesday, Trump called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender” and claimed that the US possesses the capability to target Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei with precision. He suggested on his Truth Social platform, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but safe there. We are not going to take him out (kill him!), at least not for now.”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz recently remarked on the social media platform X, stating, “A storm is passing over Tehran. This is how dictatorships collapse.” Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, announced that Iran will “never surrender” and issued a warning to the United States regarding the potential “irreparable damage” that could result from military intervention in the ongoing conflict.

Ali Bahreini, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, conveyed to reporters that the country would respond “strongly” and “without restraint” to any Israeli strikes. He affirmed, “We will not hesitate in our commitment to defend our people, security, and territory. Our response will be serious and resolute.”

Barrages of Iranian Missiles

Warnings have been issued as hostilities between the two sides have continued for a sixth consecutive day. The Israeli military reported that two barrages of Iranian missiles were directed toward Israel during the initial hours of Wednesday morning, with explosions also reported in Tel Aviv.

The military confirmed the interception of at least ten drones launched from Iran. Early Wednesday, Iranian authorities advised residents of Tel Aviv to prepare for potential attacks, as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that their hypersonic Fattah-1 missiles were “repeatedly shaking the shelters” in Israel’s commercial center overnight.

The IRGC conveyed in a statement broadcast on state television that “the 11th wave of the proud Operation Honest Promise 3, utilizing Fattah-1 missiles, has been executed.”

Hypersonic missiles, which travel at speeds exceeding five times the speed of sound and exhibit mid-flight maneuverability, pose significant challenges for tracking and interception.

In a report from Amman, Jordan, Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh indicated that overnight, a series of Iranian missiles targeted Israel, particularly focusing on the central region and the northern areas. According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, 94 individuals have received medical treatment for injuries sustained from these strikes, which also resulted in several fires caused by either the missiles or debris from interception efforts.

Iran’s Centrifuge Production Facilities Hit

On Wednesday, the Israeli military reported that it conducted strikes on weapons manufacturing facilities and a site involved in centrifuge production located in Tehran.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has verified that two centrifuge production facilities were impacted: a workshop in Karaj and the Tehran Nuclear Research Center. According to the agency, one building at the Tehran site, where advanced centrifuge rotors are produced and tested, was targeted. Two buildings in Karaj, which were manufacturing various centrifuge components, were destroyed.
