Russia to Interfere Midterm 2020 Election
The deputy director at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Emily Harding, said that Biden is the president of the country can he can publish anything whenever he wants to. Further, she adds that she is not sure it is going to be a shock to anyone that Russia is looking at disinformation for the midterm 2022 election.
Biden also had a threatening prediction about the mounting cyberattacks targeting the U.S. that his government blamed on state-assisted hackers in China and those operating with impunity in Russia. The president said he believes it is growing more likely the U.S. could result in a real shooting war with a major strength, as the significances of a cyber breach.
According to Biden, such cyber abilities of United States rivals are increasing exponentially. Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, seemed much on the mind of the U.S. president mind during his comments to the U.S. intelligence community. Russia has oil wells, nuclear weapons, and nothing else, the U.S. president said, adding that Vladimir knows he is in real trouble economically, which makes him more dangerous.
Biden Praised the U.S. Intelligence Community
The American president also praised the United States intelligence community for its dominance over its counterpart in Moscow. Biden said the Russian president knows that you are better than his team. Harding told VOA that he could see the wheels in Russia turning to respond to that one. Biden referred to both China and Russia as probably corporeal rivals down the road.
In his remarks, the American president said that Xi Jinping, the President of China, is deadly serious about becoming the most influential military force globally, along with the largest and most prominent economy globally by the mid-2040s. Moreover, the U.S. president made many mysterious references to the hypersonic weapons of opponents.
However, he stopped himself once in midsentence after saying, and he doesn’t know, the U.S. possibly has some people who are not entirely clear in the room. A group of reporters of the White House was also there, and a TV camera was recording the speech. Biden also requested his intelligence team (consisting of seventeen different agencies) to give it to him straight. The president stressed that the intelligence agencies shouldn’t be influenced by any political party having hold of the power of the White House or Congress.
